Certified translations are performed by sworn translators who represent a profession of public trust. To become a sworn translator, it is required to pass a difficult examination organized by the Ministry of Justice, covering oral and written proficiency.
When is sworn translation required?
The requirement of providing a certified translation concerns all types of processes, pleadings, vital records, school documents, certificates as well as other official documents and legal instruments.
According to the Resolution of the Minister of Justice, a standard page of a certified translation is 1125 characters with spaces in the translation text, and each started page is counted as a whole.
