The basis for pricing a translation order is one standard page, which equals 1800 characters with spaces (in the target text) for standard translations and 1125 characters with spaces for sworn translations. For sworn translations, each started page is counted as a full page. Standard translations are rounded to the nearest 0.5 page.
Based on the level of difficulty, texts are classified as general, specialised (including marketing and advertising texts), and highly specialised. A small surcharge is applied for the translation of specialised and highly specialised texts. Surcharges also apply to texts intended for publication and texts proofread by a native speaker.
Translations are carried out in standard mode (up to 6 pages per day), urgent mode (7–10 pages per day), and express mode (more than 10 pages per day). The delivery time does not include the day the order is placed, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, or legally recognized days off. Urgent and express translations are subject to surcharges (except for ongoing collaborations).
A fee of 50% of the applicable rate is charged for the verification of translations provided by the client.
Detailed conditions regarding the execution and payment of the order are agreed upon with the client prior to order acceptance. The basis for payment is a VAT invoice issued by BTD Services.
Each order is priced individually. For larger or recurring orders, we offer attractive discounts!
Clients using BTD Services agree not to contact BTD Services translators working for the client directly for a period of 12 months from the date of the last order, except through BTD Services.

If the complaint is deemed valid, BTD Services will either revise the translation free of charge or – in agreement with the client – provide a discount corresponding to the severity of the errors.
