Dubbing

Dubbing is the most advanced and comprehensive form of audiovisual translation, consisting in completely replacing the original dialogue path with new recordings in the target language. Thanks to this, the viewer gets the impression that the actors on the screen use his language from the very beginning, which significantly increases the comfort of reception and allows them to fully immerse themselves in the plot. This solution provides the highest level of content localisation – both linguistically and culturally.

Dubbing is most often used in animated films, series and programs for children, where the naturalness of the message is of key importance for younger audiences. It is also widely used in cinema productions, computer games, as well as in e-learning materials, advertising and marketing content. More and more companies are choosing dubbing to better match communication to local markets and increase audience engagement.

What is part of the dubbing process?

The dubbing process is multi-stage and requires close cooperation of specialists from various fields. The first step is to translate and adapt the dialogues – it is not an ordinary translation, but a creative elaboration of the text in such a way as to preserve the meaning of the original, and at the same time to adjust the length and rhythm of the speech to the movement of the characters' lips on the screen (the so-called lip-sync synchronisation). Then a dubbing script is prepared, which forms the basis for the recordings.

The next stage is the selection of voice actors. Their task is not only to read the text, but above all to convey the character of the characters, emotions and intentions contained in the original version. The recordings take place under the supervision of a dubbing director who cares about consistency of interpretation and naturalness of dialogues. After the recording sessions, the material goes to post-production, where editing, editing and the final sound mix are carried out.

Who works on dubbing?

Our team consists of experienced translators, adaptors, sound directors as well as professional voiceovers and voice actors. Thanks to this, we are able to comprehensively manage the entire process – from the first version of the translation to the finished product. We work in modern recording studios, which allows us to ensure the highest technical quality and compliance with international standards of audiovisual production.

We offer dubbing in many European languages, tailored to the needs of individual clients as well as companies, agencies or public institutions. Each project is treated individually, taking into account its specificity, target group and distribution channel.

Dubbing is the perfect solution for those who want to create a fully immersive experience for the recipient. It eliminates the need to read the subtitles and allows you to focus only on the image and emotions flowing from the story. If you care about the maximum involvement of the viewer and the natural sound of your production in each language, dubbing will be the best choice.
